Paul Manwaring on the Beauty of God

Psalm 27:4

One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

Like a person who has been given the finer things of life can't settle with the cheaper versions of things, so is the same once we have experienced His presence. We can't settle for less than all that He has to give us. I can't settle for less than what I have already experienced with Jesus. And I have really experienced so much of His love, and His consuming presence.

I've worked with coffee for close to 3 years. I can't have coffee from Denny's anymore, because I have tasted of the finest. Same with God. I hunger for the deep presence of the Holy Spirit that releases joy and peace and comfort and hope and love.

Getting to this wonderful place where I become a partaker of His Divine Nature. A lot of getting to that place is gazing upon His beauty.

What does it mean to sing, "God You're Beautiful To Me"
"
The Zeal of the Lord Will Accomplish this." What would God invest His zeal in?

In you and I. In the Earth. In the church. has invested His love in a myriad of ways.

Invitation to discovering what is beautiful to me. A lifestyle of gazing at the beauty of God. Because he is coming back for a beautiful bride.

To see the beautiful cathedrals in Europe to not only be beautiful, but to be filled with worship and power and the HOLY SPIRIT.

Gaze upon his beauty in the temple daily.

Let's have a revival of art and worship and beauty. A renaissance that is owned by the church.
